Who We Are
St. Ann's Alumni & Friends of Little Mexico, Inc. ™   
is a community-based  non profit organization.  We
hold meetings every two months and the governing
board is comprised of ten (10) members. They are:

Our Mission Statement
We strive to promote and preserve the history of St Ann's, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic
Church and Little Mexico through the collection of photographs and oral history of the "barrio".
To honor those that nurtured our minds and souls:  the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de
Paul, the Carmelite priests, and to provide scholarships to educate our youth
What we do - Award Scholarships and Exhibit a Photo Gallery at the State Fair of Texas
St. Ann's Alumni & Friends of Little Mexico, Inc. in keeping with its mission to support the scholastic endeavors of
young people who are descendants of alumni from St. Ann School or descendants of past residents of the historic
Dallas community of "Little Mexico", will award Educational Scholarships to aspiring students who desire to continue
their collegiate studies.

For 19 years, the St..Ann's Alumni & Friends of Little Mexico, Inc.™ organization worked together on the oral and
pictorial history of Little Mexico in Dallas at the State Fair of Texas, sponsored by
Mundo Latino. Our 2020 exhibit was
postponed due to the Covid
-19 virus  The collection is comprised of over 1300 photos consisting of Our Lady of
Guadalupe church, St. Ann's parochial school events, along with many pictures of the Little Mexico neighborhood, now
extinct,and its residents.

The exhibit also proudly includes one of the largest collection of Dallas area Hispanic members of the military,
past and
